Negative taken for August 25, 1963, Arkansas Gazette article "Europe - That Land of Cathedrals," 5E. During Deane's trip to Europe in the summer of 1963, he visited many Cathedrals. The Madeline in Paris was patterned after the Parthenon of Athens with Corinthian columns (1539.3, 1539.4).
